INTERNATIONAL:

A Preview of AFRICOM?
Only time will tell, but the Council on Foreign Relations recommended in a recent report that the US ramp up its involvement in Africa to secure its oil resources. Is it even possible that this agenda won’t lead to the same fiasco of a foreign policy that it has in the Middle East?

IRAQ:

Popular wisdom in Iraq rules that Grand Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani, with a simple fatwa, or even a single word, could bring the US occupation to an abrupt end. So why doesn't he?

Gas Prices – Complain, Restrain, and Sustain - May 2007
There are a couple of plans floating around the Internet to counteract this new form of “highway robbery.” One plan says we should not pump gas on May 15th. Question: What difference does it make if the gas thieves get our money on the 14th the 15th or the 16th of the month? So we skip a day, then what? Back to business as usual?

Giuliani Would Make a Worst President than Bush
Giuliani is a media creation. Giuliani was unknown until in search of name recognition he staged a stormtrooper assault on the financial firm Princeton/Newport involving fifty federal marshals outfitted with automatic weapons and bullet proof vests. Giuliani framed Leona Helmsley with the suborned perjury of one of Helmsley’s accountants, whose own infraction in helping to defraud the Miller Brewing Company was dropped in exchange for false witness against Helmsley.

Carey Bell, harmonica player at the forefront of blues music
He emerged at the forefront of blues harmonica in the 1970s after touring and recording with Muddy Waters and Willie Dixon, particularly as part of Dixon's Chicago Blues All-Stars. Mr. Bell's trademark sound worked well on funkier up-tempo songs, but he also was capable of great expression and sustained melodic work on ballads.
